The Quest; Winter Wonderland

Cracking commercial perch

At this time of year I find it pays to target  true cold-weather species instead of wasting too much time fishing for species that are at there best at other times of the year.

Perch- I have had quite a few sessions on both commercial waters and estate lakes over the last month. And my simple approach has been paying off. Chopped worm, maggot and caster liberally coated with Aquastim. This liquid is highly attractive to perch and comes well recomended. With many commercial waters now producing large perch there has never been a better time to try this approach.

Satisfied customer! Ian with a 27.8

Grayling- With many off the southern chalk streams allowing winter access to coarse anglers, why not try a days trotting? I headed down to the stunning River Test at Timsbury. Maggots were oversprayed with Esterberry to attract fish from downstream and with the cameras from improve your coarse fishing magazine ready to capture the action I enjoyed a great days sport with the 'lady of the stream'.

20+ for Jules.

Pike- A perrenial winter favourite. As well as my own pike fishing, I have been quite busy with guiding booking's with many good fish coming to the net for clients from rivers, lakes and reservoirs. Topped by a cracking upper 20 to Ian. I've even bagged a couple myself on simple float ledger tactics. As always coating the baits in some Blended salmon oil bought plenty of extra bites.

At this time of year theres  more to life than carp alone, and as always Richworth products will give you the edge.

Jules
