I started Carp fishing around 30 years ago at the ripe old age of 12 I knew then that I had found a side of fishing that fascinated me. Back then 'doubles' were big fish, '20s' were monsters and don’t even go there with '30s' and '40s'.

Fishing is an important part of my life. I started fishing when I was six years old with my dad. At first catching bream, tench, bass, pike and later on carp. During the years I have specialised in carp fishing, I prefer doing this abroad. France, Spain and Italy are my favourite countries. Ten years ago I started writing about my adventures in Dutch carp magazines and websites.
TYPE OF BAIT: Richworth boilies, pallets and dumbells. Complex, Crab and Mussel and KG-1 are my favourite.

HOW TO USE BAIT:

I also like fishing for bigger species. For example I have caught white sturgeon in het USA up to 350 lbs and catfish weighing 120 lbs in Spain.
